Just bought the newest Ring Magazine, and they have a novel new concept in having detachable pages! I guess if you want to keep certain pages that are interesting and not necessarily the rest of the magazine. Every damned page has fallen out of the magazine!! Is this the wave of the future for the new "Golden Boy" Ring? What a cheaply put together bunch of crap. They need to cut corners in a different way than the way the mag is put together. Anyone else buy this detachable edition?

they are probably paying more for the detachable pages than non-detachable ones so whats the thing about cutting corners?

Not sure you understood what the brother was saying, as of late the Ring magazine will sometimes literally fall apart in your hands.

I heard that the magazine had to cut corners because it needed to finance Oscar's fishnet catsuit fetish.

    Boxing mags are obsolete.

Very true, but years ago, the boxing mag news was way behind.

Awesome. Now all it needs is kung fu grip and it's perfect.

Yeah, the same exact thing happened to me, with the February 2008 issue (Pavlik on the cover). Basically, the entire magazine fell apart. The two I have received since then remained intact for the most part - but it is still pretty obvious they use cheap glue. Oh, do I long for the old days of STAPLED boxing mags!
