Got hit with alot of punches causing his head to snap back again. At one point Paulie clinched up like he was going to throw a punch and he immediately jerked his head back lol, like a conditioned response.
He got hit with alot of punches. Clean crisp punches too. None of them were rolled or anything. Thats spells doom against a fight who isnt feather fisted like Malignaggi.
Defo looked more like the pre-Kostya Hatton, just without the crunching body shots that would have stopped Malignaggi
He was still getting caught, and what happened to the guy that use to dig the body like a maniac? Definitely looked good out there though, and without a doubt an impressive win.
Stamina improved, certainly. The jab was also utilized better. Other than that, no change. Still crude, still rushes, and no longer uses his greatest asset to best effect, his body punching. The champs with power are gonna give Ricky a lot of problems. I think Holt or Torres stop Hatton, honestly. Bradley would be beatable if Hatton would return to body punching with more regularity. Very solid performance.
