PLEASE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS THREAD IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN A FULL RICKY HATTON FIGHT IN THE PAST & DIDN'T SEE THE FULL HATTON VS PAULIE FIGHT TONIGHT!

Do you like the changes Mayweather Sr. has made in Hatton's style?
Do you think Mayweather Sr. & Hatton should continue to work together?

To be fair Hatton looked more like the fighter he was before the Tyszu fight,
which i feel was Hatton at his best, since the Tyszu fight, Hatton has been very much gung ho and sloppy, and turned into a bit of a wrestler, tonight, his footwork and head movement were back and he used his jab, his stamina looked very much liked the Hatton of old, the only thing missing was the body punching, although that was maybe more down to Malignaggi.

i am very impressed with ricky tonight, i think floyd SR has done well, he hasnt tought ricky anything new, but has chissled ricky and found rickys best parts and improved them. I think the Billy Graham camp took him as far as he and matthew could have gone, getting very complaicent with tactics, strategies and training, and it needed something like this to happen.

Very very impressed tonight with Ricky, was worried before the fight, to hell what people know when they are saying a fighter is over, done for etc, no body knows.

I seen more head movement out of Hatton & more jabs/jab control out of Hatton then I've ever seen out of him. Those were the changes I seen.

He is not jumping into left hooks over and over again so that is a good sign.

I like what I saw . . . Floyd Sr delivered on what he promised . . . Less of the Swiveling. He also displayed straighter punches, less sloppiness closing in.

His conditioning was pretty good even if he had to lose 42 pounds. He improved his head movement but the changes are not that enormous. It's not that bad for 8 weeks with a new trainer.

I think he sould stay with Mayweather, but he needs to stop drinking and putting that much weight between fights, it's very bad for his body. Why can't he give his best for some years and enjoy party life after.

Yeah. He's not eating punches to throw punches.

Really though. Its sad Hatton doesn't already feel bad about his choices in the past, & even sadder that he still won't make better decisions. Its obvious that is Hatton just cuts back heavily on the alcohol & eating, he could've/can be a way better boxer.

he's developed a good jab with good power under mayweather sr. and his left hook has improved too. has more discipline and is more controlled now.

    he looked way better

    - took his time
    - established a better pace & rhythm
    - less wreckless
    - very successful with the fade (maybe the wrong termanol) & hook
    - fought a much more smarter & disciplined fight

They've only been together for 7 weeks, and I think there was an improvements in some aspects of Hattons boxing.

Mayweather Sr was a terrific choice. He looked much more versatile in the fight, and fought smarter. He has obviously improved under his tutelage.
