When ward is a division below? Might as well say Paulie's title is hollow (WW) until he beats Garcia (LWW).
He won the fight quicker, so he'd beat the man? C'mon.. Stevenson's a puncher, but not much of a boxer. When he wins it's more likely to be a quick stoppage. Doesn't mean he beats the better boxer, specially one who has the tools to neutralise him. If you use arguments like that what's the point in them fighting at all? Stevenson vs Hopkins Kovalev/White Ward (at either weight) Bute/Pascal All good mix ups IMO. Though Kovalev's the one I'd like to see most (assuming he gets past White)
well if ward would just fight at 169 he would have been two division champ but no! So Stevenson beat linear 175 champ! Anyway why was dawsons 175 title not on the line? I remember Sugar Ray fought for two titles with Donny Lalonde weighting 168?
How does that make sense? Ward vs. Dawson wasn't even at 175, so the result bears no relevance on the division.
