Was up all night watching the full card and not bored at all with every fight having an uncertain outcome pre fight with nearly all delivering good action in the ring. That is the best I have seen Helenius box for a long time but yes the Pole's eye damage certainly helped.
That’s one fight. Card was poor beside the fight. However besides this card which was not a UK card what UK based card for this market is better than anything matchroom have done since July?
You can not compare it at all. When Eddie Hearn / Matchroom left Sky Sports, they were left with nothing and had to try to rebuild something from scratch. Will Boxxer be a success for Sky Sports? I do not know and will not judge anything until 2023. The ones I personally believe really can make things difficult for Eddie Hearn / Matchroom are Wasserman Boxing.
Goalpost changed - you wanted to know cards on Sky or BT better than DAZN UK. Poor card - surely you must have not watched it and woke up for the Fury fight?
The same price as the Matchroom PPV featuring Tony Dosh v Usyk with a shocking undercard. The difference in value between the BT Sports Box Office and Sky Sports ReMatchroom Box Office was there for all too see.
Not disagreeing there, the Fury/Wilder card was better than the AJ-Usyk one. However, the point I was making was that your example of a Sky/BT card better than the DAZN UK offerings was a £25 PPV show. If that's the only one (I can't think of any others that compare, though I enjoyed the Channel 5 Eggington-Jkitou bout) then @Trafford's point stands…
You think that DAZN UK offer cracking value at £7.99 per card? Most informed people know that the Fury card was the same price as every other card this year.
No, I don't think it's cracking value at that, I would expect two good cards a month. It's a 'dip in/out' service for me, and currently I am out. I would have been in for Whyte-Wallin FWIW. I think their recent cards have been a street ahead of the stuff shown by BT and Sky in recent months, bar the two big heavyweight PPV shows. Fully aware that anyone can pirate streams for nothing, but that wasn't really the topic. I was just following up on the question @Trafford asked.
They can’t without a sole backer or tv deal. I believe they would have if Sky gave them the contract Eddie is also building from scratch on a new Platform. So why are you not affording him the same luxury. Seems a bit hypocritical
