I just saw an interview with Adam Smith where he tells that BOXXER's second show had the second highest ratings in several years.
I see Sky coming back strongly and expect much better cards in 2022 resulting in even better viewing figures. DAZN UK has a big problem retaining subscribers with only 18 UK cards per year and now with confirmation of PPV, very few are going to keep forking out £7.99 per month.
That's speculation. We don't really know how that £7.99 has effected subscriptions. If we can take Adam Smith at his word regarding the Boxxeer ratings on Sky sports then I don't see why one can't take hearns word when he says the Smith v Fowler fight drove subscriptions to DAZN.
Eh Day says - says it all. The man is a professional conman and very good at it. When he speaks, I visualise him selling me an old yellow rusted Reliant Robin missing three wheels - that helps with context.
I can just imagine Eddie on the car forecourt "This one will blow you away, an absolute game changer! For only 79 grand you can get this 1 litre 1995 Fiat Punto, you might need to a bit more for an engine later on mind, but it's an absolute bargain, apples and pairs and all that, Game changed! "
See Josh Warrington is back in training so wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Warrington in a 10 rounder. Or maybe they’ll take Benn from chief support of Parker Chisora and let him headline the early December show, and then have Warrington 10 rounder as chief support for Parker Chisora?
That's completely correct. None of us know if this is something Adam Smith invents and may be telling lies but do you trust everything Eddie Hearn says? Do you consider Eddie Hearn a witness to the truth?
I’m going to watch my brother in pantomime December 11th. Sad I’ll miss a women’s fight and Conor Benn vs some random past it 40 year old “step up”.
If Sky Sports has Chris Eubank Jr. vs Liam Williams on the same night there will not be many viewers on DAZN.
