"The New" Ray Robinson

Give him credit for fighting another undefeated prospect in Jiles. But Robinson does look very promising.

He's huge for a freaking JWW.

But he's also slow as **** and throws wide shots. If Jiles had known how to get inside, it would have been an interesting fight.

 

Doesn't look like anything special.

 

Marvin Quintero and orlando Cruz were impressive. Ray Robinson is average.

 

I don't know why all the praise is coming this kid's way.. I guess the name has something to do with it, but he doesn't look like anything special to me. Really doesn't do anything outstanding in there besides be tall, that's about it.

 

That's what im saying man. Only an untrained eye would think he's something special. He looks average.

 

Very tall. I believe he's 5'10.

 

Quintero will be fun to watch, although I'm not sure Casal was much of a challenge.

 

This kid has a long ways to go. Slow, feet WAY to far apart, sloppy offense, et. But hey, I'll keep an eye on him and see what happens.

 

Agreed. Quick fists and tall, but not much else. Technically seemed a bit below average, his fists seemed pretty feathery, he lacked quickness anywhere other than his fists and his footwork was a mess.

 

I'll save rico the trouble and ask this anyway, has his glass jaw been tested? :rofl:rofl

I havent heard of this kid but if he live up to the name half way, then he'll be undisputed world reining champ in the next 5 years

 

I'd like to see him down the road..Right now he's doing what he supposed to do by beating everyone they put in front of him--Another 18-28 months and he'll be tested! Than we can see how good he really is!

 

Aren't there rules against such a name?
