Good point.. from 3 - 10 you can make a case for alot of fighters really. I put Dawson at 3 but I dont really look at him as the third best fighter in the world, like you said it's a real changing of the guard.
1. Mayweather (say what you want, i don't even like him, but he is an all time great, and we should be happy to see this defense and timing genius) 2. Pac (very close behind floyd, is an all time great too and an offense genius) 3. Wladimir Klitschko ( freak of nature with better skills then 99% of the heavy and cruiserweights, and right now unbeatable) 4. Paul Williams 5. Martinez 6. Dawson 7. Marquez 8. Vitali Klitschko 9. Adamek 10. Bradley right behind, froch, kessler, abraham, ward, dirrell, bute, i have to wait till the finishing of the super six to order them right and for me the two finalist will be top 10 p4p for sure
on mine i had paul winning by a point..me n u dont count..only the official scores count towards the fighters records and the w or l column
Not going to lie mate, haven't seen it, only read reports in the press, (and this off the top of my head) about Marquez being paid buttons for the fight, and getting jobbed in the decision. Could be miles off though. Don't get to watch anywhere near the amount of boxing I used to, the beauty of wife, kids and work.....
1-Pacquiao 2-Mayweather 3-Paul Williams 4-Sergio Martinez 5-Chad Dawson 6-Timothy Bradley 7-Wladimir Klitschko 8-Lucian Bute 9-Andre Ward 10-Juan Manuel Marquez Not far behind ; Chris John, Miguel Cotto, Celestino Cabbalero Dangerous p4p contender ; Amir Khan, Juan Manuel Lopez, Devon Alexander, David Haye I think mayweather is the better man, but obviously Pacquiao deserves the no.1 spot, just by the opposion he faces, if Mayweather faces another TOP fighter like Cotto, Berto or Foreman and beats him the way he beated marquez and Mosley, I will give him the no.1 spot Williams at no.3, only beacsue he goes in all weight classes and beats everyone...yeah I know, he might have lost against martinez, but the official result is a win... Martinez ta 4 ? Well, it is not nly the win avoer pavlik that puts him there, it his also the ''even'' fight with the no.3... 5-6-7 ? Only by their work in their respective weight class, they are just the best... 8-9 ? Bute and Ward are two future top 5...or even top 3 p4p fighter, the clash when they will fight for the four belts after the Super Six (Ward has the WBA and will win the WBC in the tournament, and Bute has the IBF, but will smash the WBO holder by the end oy the tourney) abd the Ring magazine belt, will surely put one of them in the top three p4p, just like it did to Calzaghe when he beated Kessler... 10 ? Well...Marquez is very good, but the beating he tokk from Floyd...just puts him backward on the ranking, he needs to smash Diaz really hard on July 31st to get back in the bests...
