The next Superstar will probably be whoever beats Pac or Floyd so it obviously will have to be someone within the welterweight range, young, skilled and have a somewhat exciting style..

All those mentioning Kahn, Ortiz and Alvarez are on the right track.

Gamboa or the winner of Gamboa vs DOnaire.I just think Gamboa is a special talent. The speed, the power and I see Super star.Mini Mike Tyson with better skillz.

Nonito Donaire. He's young has a ton of talent and can claim to repesant two countrys.

haha, maybe it's just wishful thinking because I want a US HW to dominate the division again.

I agree with most of you already said. Khan, Ortiz, Donaire, Gamboa.

Talent and a huge win can only take you so far. After a breakout win you have to nurture that with some creative matchmaking to keep winning or the gig is up. Very few fighters (Tyson, DLH) can continue to draw huge mainstream attention even after losing fights.

    Khan/Donaire/Gamboa/Rigondeaux/Ortiz

Possibly these guys. I can imagine Donaire and Kahn moving up in weight. Donaire possibly up to featherweight and Kahn up to 154-60 - with his height and body frame it's not impossible.

It's hard to say. It's extremely difficult to become a PPV fighter let alone a superstar. I honestly dont think there are any PPV fighters out there at the moment. You gotta become a PPV fighter before you can become a superstar

    Depends ...
    Khan if he beats Bradley
    Adamek if he beats Vitaly
Froch if he wins super6 and beats Bute
Hopkins have a few years to dominate LHW

hmmm...hard to think. They don't even have belts. They are not proven top level. Yet, they will be the next superstar in boxing??? WTF?
