Lee, McEwan, and Duddy all have a long way to go. Right now David "The Destroyer" Lopez would kick the living **** out of all 3, and Rubio would knock all the 3 the **** out.

I sincerely hope all 3 can develop into viable contenders, but they aren't really even close to that level yet. Duddy probably never will be.

Agreed. The first two are still extremely rough round the edges, not ready for a title shot yet. (Though if KP were being cynical he could try and fight them now and dispense with them as a threat for the future!) We'll see what happens with Duddy.

Peter "Kid Chocolate" Quillin is back!

Cuban-American Peter Quillin, born in Grand Rapids, MI now living in NY is back with a win after a 18-month layoff. "Kid Chocolate" won a 10-round UD vs tough veteran Fernando Zuniga, producing a shutout on 2 cards. Hopefully the 26 year-old will now fight regularly without distractions and injuries, he could be an interesting player in the already packed MW division.

Shawn will be on FNF in Cleveland in the next few weeks. His father told us that they are working w/ a nutritionist to land Shawn in the right weight class, which is 154 lb. or even 147 lb. 5'6 " doesn't equate to MW

Man , you have talked some shite on this thread and insulted another poster who was making consise valid points. :patsch

BTW - boxrec rankings are complete crap and previous victories in the amteurs doesn't mean anything in the pros. Get your head out of your ass for a change

David Lopez is ranked #7 by Ring Magazine, and if the rankings were correct, he would be at least one spot higher, because Gevor does not belong at #4.

David has not lost since a 12th round TKO at the hands of Fulgencio Zuniga in 2005. He has 14 straight wins. He has held minor titles from 160-175, and has fought everywhere from junior middleweight to cruiserweight. Again, Lopez would beat all 3 of the Irish boys with relative ease, and Rubio would knock all 3 out. At this point that is not even debatable.
