That site you referred to is a joke. It is by far the worst source of boxing info on the net. Here is a challenge for you. Write up a post where you disagree with the author. Articulate your points very thoughtfully and clearly. I gaurantee you they will not post it.

yeah any word on when Kirkland will be fighting again I remember reading somewhere recently that said he was having trouble keeping the weight off

**I believe I saw Danny Jacobs in the corner of Sadam Ali. Don't forget Jacobs is fighting at the end of the month on the Diaz/Marquez II card

which I'd consider seeing at the theaters, but the $25 price tag is a turn off.

Korobov has looked truly pedestrian his last few fights. Maybe not enough to keep him off the list, and he was claiming health problems, but just something to keep an eye out for. His fight on the Pavlik-Martinez undercard was awful.

My "dark horse" prospect in the division is Dominic Wade, who has loads of talent. He's being moved pretty slowly though.

It'll be interesting to see whether it really was a health related bump in the road (it happens) or if he's just stagnating fighting his current level of comp and needs a tougher fight to look forward to.

Never heard of Wade; what's he fight like?

Okay, so with the middleweight division shaping up and such prospect showdown are coming as Pirog-Jacobs and Macklin-Barker, here's another ten with the names you guys mentioned, plus possible players who fight in the weight neighbourhood:

ANOTHER TEN TO LOOK OUT FOR:

    Darren Barker, 28, 22-0

    Dmitry Chudinov, 23, 5-0

    Fedor Chudinov, 22, 4-0

    Omar Henry, 23, 10-0

    Yudel Jhonson, 29, 7-0

    James Kirkland, 26, 25-0

    Craig McEwan, 28, 18-0

    Grzegorz Proksa, 25, 21-0

    Peter Quillin, 27, 21-0

    Dominic Wade, 20, 7-0

    +1, and why not:

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., 24, 41-0-1

    He's got a bad case of WhoNeedsHim?itis.

While waiting for fights to come his way he's keeping fit at the Wild Card Gym, and runs his own boxing education & training program for beginners. He's a good dude.

Great list, I would also be on the look out for Jermain Taylor to return to Middleweight when he returns later this year. I understand he's struggled of late but a reunion with Pat Burns, and renewed committment to training, should allow him to be a factor. He has something most guys in this division don't (aside from a glass chin...lol) and that's exprience on the biggest stage in boxing.

For the record, I don't know for certain he will return to Middleweight, but I assume this would be the best chance for him to have sustained success. I also believe the "making weight" issue will be alleviated by real training, as opposed to the rinky dink bull**** he was doing with Ozelle Nelson.

If we make certain assumptions, a few months from now the division could include:

    Sergio Martinez
    Kelly Pavlik
    Paul Williams
    Felix Sturm
    Jermain Taylor
And all these young prospects and contenders on this thread!
