They all have have excellent ability along with possessing something unique that could make them into SUPERSTARS. Alvarez has the look (A red-headed Mexican...very unique)...Chavez has the name reckognition....and Benavidez has the Bigtime Skill. They are all extremely young fighters (Benavidez 19, Alvarez 21, Chavez Jr 25) and relatively close in weight with Benavidez being the smaller at 140lbs but at 6ft tall, adding weight as he matures, shouldn't be that much of a problem. I can see these guys staying undefeated for quite a while and being the most talked about Mexican Fighters in the Sport within' 5 years.

A question from me is: will the TR vs GBP beef last that long that Alvarez and Chavez Jr will never face?

That fight would be monstrous (in terms of hype).

TR and GBP are not that stupid to allow a beef to prevent one of the Biggest Possible fights between two of Mexico's Biggest Young Stars...NO WAY IN HELL!!! Now with that being said....this fight will not happen anytime soon. They are going to keep these two fighters "UNDEFEATED PATH" for years to come. I'd say May or Sept (Both Huge Mexican Holidays with one being in the USA and the other being in Mexico) of 2014. By then both Chavez and Alvarez will have attain HUGE status in Mexico and with Mexican American fans. Benavidez will have to take the hard road simply because he appears to be the better and more skillful fighter. So therefore he have fights against better competition...IMO.

Rios is NOWHERE near this list. That "TAKE 5 PUNCHES TO LAND 3" style will eventually be his demise.

Eventually. But if he beats Gamboa he will easily be the best upcoming Mexican fighter.

The problem I see, though, is that undefeated path being way too long for Chavez Jr to wait for Canelo to move up in weight. I think he’ll be at 168 soon.

I agree with your original post, but I wouldn't count Rios out though. He is one tough mofo and I think he can develop his defense a lot more.

And that's the reason why Benavidez will have to take the "harder-Path". Because there are so many people that don't consider him a "Real Mexican" simply because He is Mexican American. So as someone who NOT Mexican...I will not attempt to touch the POLITICS WITHIN THE MEXICAN CULTURE.

Really? Ortiz has to do more than beat Berto. Although...I can see him having some HUGE commerical appeal, if he keeps winnng.
