Mares is better than those three

 

With Mexican Americans depends how they handle themselves in and out the ring for Mexicans to accept them. Rios would be accepted in a heart beat Ortiz... Might take awhile depends how he does vs Berto. But as far as Mexicans Mares, Canelo, and Vasquez are going to be the elites. Mares and Vasquez already are elites in their divisions while Canelo is a champ he wont be considered a true threat until he faces a contemporary like Kirkland, Angulo, or Lara.

If we include Mexican Americans or chicanos Id say Rios, Benavides, Guerrero, Mikey Garcia,and Jesse Vargas lead the pack for chicanos. Overall Mares, Rios, and Benavides are the 3 best. I know Miguel Vasquez style isnt the most pleasing but I think he gets overlooked and he's going to be very tough to beat. Would love a Vasquez vs Linares fight. Both fast fighters.

 

I think Alvarez, Mares, Guerrero and Garcia have more potential and if managed right should have very good careers. Ortiz I really liked his potential seemed to show alot of signs of a young Fernando Vargas but what separates him from Vargas is his heart and as a result I'm not high on him as I once was. Rios has alot of heart and is a real exciting fighter but he just seems like Margarito 2 come forward no defense and once he faces more boxers that stick and move and he moves up in weight to where his size is no longer a advantage he is going to look real bad and can potentially have a short career if he does not fix this I'm sorry that's just me. Chavez Jr to me is hype and living off his fathers name guy is more protected than the president.

They consider themselves Mexican and rock that Mexican Color demonstrating their respect to their heritage, and appealing to the Mexican fan base whether it be MexAM or MEX100.. they also appeal to the American which is why they are called MEXICAN AMERICANS..



And the Big 3 I wouldn't call them that, but are gonna be making waves in their divisions that's for sure.
