Topuria started Jiu Jitsu at the age of 4 which is insane and we are starting to see lots of well-rounded fighters now Shavkat, Umar Islam Arman I think we are entering a new Era in MMA in which the elite guys will be so well-rounded

Tompuria training at such an early age is nothing new to MMA.
But what is new is teenagers training actual MMA.

Du Plessis turned pro at 19. Topuria at 18. We are seeing more and more mixed martial artists with full pro careers.
Raul Rosas Jr. was competing in amateur MMA at 16.

Dana doesn´t like amateur MMA, but he should be backing it. It allows for young fighters to focus more on training and allows them to advance further. By the time they turn 18, they will have had lots of experience and are full fledged prospects when turning pro.

I think nowadays the fighters are already well more rounded then the Shamrock/Ortiz/Liddell days.
