This is a solid group of not great fighters, There are definitely some very good big men in the group but none who will be the next big thing. I'm going with Parker simply because he is the biggest name right now and the man most likely to get a shot at a title soon. I do like the fact that DuBois is only 24. He certainly has the brightest long term future.
They were good, but that division was lacking too I think both brother's would still be champs in their primes
Fury only has size I like him for his heart, but he is a bum really Usyk is very good, but the likes of Holmes, Lewis, Tyson etc would bear him
Joyce but I don’t see him being a dominant force for too long. I can see big baby being the next great HW
The two top American talents need to go in - Jared Anderson & Richard Torrez. I'd remove Tony Yoka & Efe Ajagba to accommodate them. I'd also have Justis Huni as the best H/W talent out of the South Pacific instead of Joe Parker. Huni & Torrez will go further than many of those mentioned b/c they have money behind them & will be able to secure decent opponents. Both are also very young.
The Holmes who struggled with Reynaldo Snipes and Mike Weaver? The Holmes who lost to a LHW? Please. Holmes presided over an era of fat ****s and drug addicts, and wouldn't even fight the best of the fat ****s and drug addicts. Somehow his reputation has become wild inflated,
I don't think Richard Torrez will go far at all he got absolutely obliterated in the amateurs against Jalolov. This content is protected
If the are our choices then they should just vacate the belts and not have a champ. My serious answer is Anthony Joshua. He won't beat Usyk, but when Usyk and Fury legit retire he is young enough, good enough, and experienced enough to just have a third act.
How did Torrez go in the Olympic final against Jalolov? Surely that more recent footage is more relevant than what you posted? And how did David Tua go against Felix Savon in the World Amateur Championships less than 12 months out from an Olympics where he medaled? Did that performance prove indicative of what his chin would be like as a pro? Torrez is only a young bloke with plenty of improvement in him.
