The hand issue is probably a good thing. It delayed his progress making it less likely he fights a prime Klitschko. He stands a good chance with any of the other top heavies if he continues to improve.
Uh, Boytsov is 24 whereas Haye and Solis 30. They spent much more time in the amatuers. No hypocricy here, just good sense.
The guy fights like he has a stick up his ass, but in today's heavyweight environment, I wouldn't be surprised if he won a belt.
I don't hear Boytsov calling out the Klitschkos, running his mouth in the media, and promising everyone mega fights that will clean out the division.
Boytsov should aim for cruiserweight. He is builed for that division and could rule it for years and years.
I'm not going to get excited about Boytsov until he starts to fight someone good. He looks promising, but that's it - many fighters could look promising against the opponents he's faced so far. Oh, and it doesn't impress me that he was unable to finish off Vinny Maddalone. Adamek made it in 5, Brian Minto did it twice - even Evander Holyfield could do it.
He did beat Jason Gavern impressively in a funny and entertaining fight. Not a world beater I know, but Gavern has given tough fights to some so called contenders
Boytsov always looks a tad chubby, the type of physique that would cost him way too much stamina if he were to fight a more durable and experienced fighter. Probably has a horrible diet, check his gut around 2:15: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fr98KICzhJA[/ame] Hot wife though.
