Got To Love Australian Boxing. Here is another story Fresh For Your Comedy Pleasure.

Ex-NRL enforcer Jason Williams lines up Carl Webb, Willie Mason, Sonny Bill Williams

The 120kg enforcer, who spent five months in jail for assaulting former teammate Jeremy Smith, has quit rugby league to take up a boxing career and he has set his sights on some rugby league heavyweights.

"Yeah I want to take on some of the NRL boys first," said Williams, who is being trained by Losh Matthews out of the Strong Arm Boxing Academy at Sutherland.

"I'd like to fight Carl Webb or maybe Willie Mason. Those blokes will have a go so they would be good to fight.

"He fights a bit like Mike Tyson but also has a light touch. He has done a lot of sparring with girls for his technique."

yeah, well sparring with girls can turn out real funny. :patsch

i thought id step in with alex leapais cousin or something (i think she was), thought id move around a bit, encourage her to jab, slip a few, back her up with the jab when she got too confident etc......:-(

****. she had a jab, and a ****en good one. a solid right cross, and lots of stamina. sallywinder soon found out there was no 'gentlemanly' way of surviving that spar.

    i think i quit after two......and a bit marked up...:yep

Sounds like it could have been Nive Moefaauo 2 pro fights trained by Ricky Thornberry. She used to give the young bucks a touch up [boxing wise] in the gym when she was fighting in the amateurs.

Connected my Tandy hand-held hate meter to this forum and the highest hate readings for Danny Green were registered by TCBoxa and Lefty.

....funny thing was they both registered exactly the same reading to the fourth decimal place.

CHB you've been running hot with the sleuth work.

First exposing the " Circus Frog " and now TC and Lefty.

More sub plots than a John Le Carre novel.

{ off thread. Will you be going to the Eagles concert ? ]

  11. It looks **** for the image at the same time who wouldn't want to to see him fight.

    Eagles definitely!

Think I've already seen pre-sale ticket offer? Must check my hotmail again.

Did see that there were about 6 grades of ticket, starting at $100, and they are planning on playing 3 hr shows.
