Well Kal Yafai is defiantly a top quality prospect and I think we could all agree. The question is do you think he could make a move into tougher fights? Who would you like to see him fight next? what chances do you rate for the brummie bantamweight? Jason Booth - A great old pro who has done well in his career. I think this would be a great fight for Yafai over 8 rounds with a chance to be in there with a wiley fighter. Booth could provide a test with his skill and experience. Former world title challenger. Josh Wale - Josh Wale has a fight come in February but he is a tough kid. Who deserves some credit but I think Yafai could use him as a stepping stone. Craig Lyon - Another good pro who can learn Yafai alot to be honest and he will be able to gain some valuable experience while also overstepping a good fighter.
Put him in with Wale, he is a tough kid who will face up and not step back from him. Dont want to see him anywhere near booth, he will rip him apart and will be sad to see.
I bet it will probably be Booth but I don't want to see that at all would be sad. Martin Ward would be a good test IMO and one which Yafai has a great chance in.
I think he needs to step up cause he defiantly is good enough there is no reason to hold him back but I dont want the Booth fight to happen buts that what will happen
i wasnt that impressed with him the other night but fair play he got the win, he will look better wen his in the ring with someone who wants to fight not just hold and defend with the odd jab. id like to see him in with wale or hall next they would b good tests
I thought he looked alright but i didnt like the way he came out straight away and said I hand few hands problems and ive been in they gym for ages. would rather he kept that in the gym and just say he didnt fight very well.
Why is he getting so hyped? I know he was a class AM fighter but we have alot of them. Why him? Hes knocked over bums and looked good doing it but would rather see him step it up abit before i get excited. Not hating just wondering.
Knocking out bums over 8 rounds etc is more impressive than you think. They only come to survive and are hard to look good against. Just think the damage he could do to someone who tried to win.
Bit of a bully mentallity, bit over hyped, send him away for some HARD sparring for a month, instead of feeding him fodder
either your right ? or he's another great amateur, pretender pro. though sometimes a little bit of a challenge , even if its only on paper could liven his performance up a bit.:bbb
