I think he looks like somebody who could go all the way, I would fancy him against any of the other british fighters out there at the moment. You can only learn so much from knocking the **** out of journeymen.
The way he's going he'll probably have to fight Booth or Haskins this year. There just isn't the depth in Britain. Who is the British Bantamweight champion?
I know this is becoming a cliche but he should get out of Britain and fight abroad, if he's a strong enough character to do that at his age. There isn't any depth at home to move him on so try a base in the Southern US having fights in Mexico where (big presumption here) I would expect to be more quality at the level he needs. He can still pick up fights over here if he wants to hold and keep a Lonsdale strap but he'd learn alot from better matched opponents abroad. The other added benefit is would dampen the hype, although I suspect that isn't part of Eddie's plan.
Some one who won't fold up after the first body shot. Garcia was nothing much , but he showed Yafai's limitations. Yafai needs solid pros who will take him into deeper water , so he can hone his skills.
