No way is Wlad going to face Povetkin in September and then Haye in December, too quick of a turnaround for a fight this big. I get the feeling Haye would rather face Vitali first anyways. Haye matches up better with Vitali who is older, declining, and slower than Wlad. Hayes strength against the Klitschkos will be his speed and movement and that would be much more effective against Vitali.

It looks like Haye is going to lay low in negotiations with Wlad at the moment until his mandatory with Povetkin can't be put off anymore. Once Wlad-Povetkin is a done deal then Haye and Vitai will have plenty of time to line up a fight for the end of the year. It would be a smart move if Haye could beat Vitali. It would make a Wlad-Haye fight that much bigger next year. Of course Haye could simply be blowing smoke and has little intention of facing either Klitschko, its not like he hasn't had oppurtunities.

He has brought excitement thus far...whether thats through his bouts or through his talking, there are more people talking about the Heavyweights than there have been for a good few years.

And so what if he's busy with other things beside his career, thats his decision...boxing is effectively his job, a dangerous one at that. He's not the first boxer in history to take time away from the sport, or take his time in between bouts. I'd like to see him fight more actively, but can I judge him...no.

We all enjoy boxing...isn't that why we are on this forum...:huh

Why should he give up the belt?...he has recently made a mandatory defense of it...maybe if he hadn't fought in 2 years, but people are talking like that is the case. If he wants a rest, why are people complaining? If they have stated the Wlad/Vitali bout can happen later in the year...whats the problem?
