Im a Puerto Rican but im trying to be very objective and unbiased , Honestly i think that his power is very good but his skills arent, To be honest i feel that Cotto is a much better superior boxer. Hope im wrong cause and he make me eat my words but until now ,NOT SOLD!!! on the kid.

I even remember when i went to a Cotto fight here in P.R. and he was in the undercard , he went 6 rounds in a 6 rounds fight versus a nobody. I will go as far to say that he lost that fight, If someone went to the Cotto vs Branco card now what im talking about

And that coming from a guy with Juanma on his avatar.

I cant lie myself. Just ask yourself what Juanma is going to do when a guy can take his punch? or better yet when he gets in the ring with a superior defensive boxer?

I think they are overrating him a little.

I don't have many personal favorites but this kid is on my list. He's already made waves when you think about it. It's happening already. This is the beginning.

got here too late to say this before you but i agree and should be edging his way up the P4P list as well.

if he could get the fights he would clean out the division.

i'd say when then era starts, when Pac, Calzaghe, and Hopkins are all retired

Cotto, Juanma, Chad Dawson, Nonito Donaire, and probably JMM cuzz he'll probabbly be around for nearly another decade, but yeah... those will probably be the premiere fighters in the sport

and i'll throw in Angulo's name as well, but yeah to sum it up......Juanma is the future, he is the real deal

there will never be another Tito or Cotto, cuzz there different people, but he will be the 1st Juanma, the boys a beast

and more then that i can see him in the top 5 p4p by next year, because the real winner of Vasquez-Marquez III was more then likely Juanma, cuzz those guys took atleast 5 years off of each others careers and 12 years off of each others lifespan throughout that trilogy, so Juanmas probably gonna clean up the pieces

he is not a prospect..a prospect is a boxer not rated in the top 10..in fact he is already a champ but would suffer embarrassing loss to penalosa
