    Im really really unsure where this is coming from for Brook , yes he looks a solid domestic / Euro level fighter but his style is nothing special , he looks athletically gifted and has good power but im not sure he should be receiving accolades like this just yet ............. :huh

    The thread title is " The Next Superstar "

    Potential is still a pretty big statement bearing in mind the company you have placed Brook in , in your post .

    Khan will probably lose in one of those fights, then Ariza will start roiding him, he'll jump a couple of weightclasses and end becoming the HW champ after Roach cherrypicks the competition :happy

    Whoever comes out as the best man during the 140 wars. I like Alexander. The boxing powers that be will try to "guide" Khan's career in a manner that makes him into a big star. They know having a sexy face and blazing hand speed sells tickets.

    AND

    That cholo Saul Alvarez.

    Ward is not the next big thing, 1 win against a faded kessler (which was impressive) cant show us that. if anything dirrel has more talent than him. Id say mares talent wise but the lower weight classes unfairly never get the recogniton they deserve. Watch oyut for bellew from britain as well

    Ward, Khan, Jacobs, JuanMa, Gamboa...But it's hard to imagine any of them reach Floyd/Pac status...

    Saul Alvarez.

    The kid's just a teenager but already pretty big in Mexico and will fight on prime TV right before or after the soccer final, producing the best boxing ratings in the country for quite a few years. He already appeared on the undercard of the biggest US fight of the year and will return to HBO before the end of 2010. He seems to be destined for greatness, but he's not there yet, needs to work on defense, timing, handspeed, movement, ring smarts etc, but he's doing just fine so far. The dude was born in the freakin' 90s which makes me feel pretty old.

    If Golden Boy plays it smart Canelo will be a star in the US before fighting for a major belt (2 years), if they will do it brave, expect him to fight for an interim/vacated belt in 9 months and take on Shane Mosley in about a year which would be very early in my estimation.

    But you gotta feel he's something special.

    The next superstars will be the final men standing from;
    Ward/Bute/Dawson
    Alexander/Bradley/Khan @
    Gamboa/Lopez/Caballero

    My picks would be Dawson, Alexander and Lopez.
