Well last night other than Kelly Pavlik, which is rapidly becoming as close to money in the bank as any boxer alive, it was a night of upsets and ioncredible KO's.....somes that I predicted..others that were deeply painful to watch yet they were obvious!!

    1. 2:16 the 1st round KO- Paul Williams took advantage of some very poor decisions by El Indio and in a rare lapse of defence he got his head snap as he was coming in with a very stiff jab that was the beggining of the end for El Indio last night....he totally forgot the "distance" factor at that point and once he got his head snap from that jab he was in dire strait, which Paul Williams knew imiidielty and turn on the heat, finally getting the first KD and sealing El Indios faith for the night...

Congrat to Paul Williams on very impressive KO, and understanding when his opponent was stund.....

On a more humorous observation....I commented that I didn't like the fuzzy pants that El Indio sported lastnight...I told my son it was going to be bad karma and sure enought it was.....fuzy pant? WTF..what was El Indio thinking...

    2. 2:31 or so of the first rounds..,the incredible, yet what I predicted happend..the young talented and powerful JuanMa Lopez, who I been talking about him since he was 7-0, showed the world that he is the future of the 122 division and perhaps the new king of the lower weight....Juan Ma is a special kid with incredible technical understanding of the sweet science...and power on both hands...specially the rare KO power right hook for a southpaw....

The first time that Ponce tasted JuanMa's power it was all over, and the maturity of JuanMa to take his time picking Ponce appart after he was in trouble showed me a well season veteran....I can;t see anyone and that weight class holding on to Juan Ma's power..bring on Israel and his nose will be broken far worst that Marquez first fight..Marquez is to old and slow to deal with Juan Ma at this point....but I want to see these fights happenning as soon as possible so any doubt about Juan Ma is over...

    3. WTF happened to Forrest last night...did he got old last night...did look past Mora and underestimated his jerky jerky style....or he took to many body shoots that took the fight out of him....I strongly beleive that it was all three ...he look Ok for 5 rounds or so, but when the body shoots started taking effect, we all heard his comment to Buddy McGirt..I am winded...bad news from that point on.....Mora perceived that this was the case and tune the heat to the body...it was over after that....

Juqan Ma will be the next big thing at the lower weights..and I hope that the fight with Israel Vazquez can be signed and ready by late October or November.....

As for El Indio, first of all to throw away those fuzzy trunks.....and tehn back to do what he do best box....
