No I don't think you just started following boxing, however 'around' his weight class is irrelevant. He has said numerous times he is super middle and that's it. If he doesn't walk around above 172, why would he fight at 175? So you can only judge him by his own division in terms of his 'hype'. For what it's worth, I agree with assasin... I think Froch would beat Dawson. He beat Pascal convincingly, and while the old triangle theory isn't too sound most of the time, when you consider Pascal's weaknesses (stamina and ability to execute gameplan over 12 rounds), but ack that his chin and power are pretty much identical to Froch, then I don't see Dawson Froch too many problems. Ward knocked him out ffs. Ward is a great boxer, but no KO artist.

If you really don't think Froch won on Saturday in the Kessler rematch then you're obviously welcome to your opinion but I don't see how anyone thinks he didn't win...and Dirrell fight was awarded to the right person, people will always argue, but it was hardly robbery of the decade, just a **** fight where both parties resorted to fouling. The fact is this, history says there is only ONE MAN in the world who Froch has fought and not beaten. That is a special feat, ESPECIALLY when given his run of opponents and the fact people picked against him in almost every single one of his last 10 fights (minus Mack, Johnson - even then some people though Johnson would get jobbed - and Pascal)

I re watched that fight two nights ago and Taylor did not give a beat down for 11 rounds. Far from it. Froch came on real strong and most of the second half of the fight was his. He was hurting Jermaine and breaking him down.

As for Ward, I'd love to see him come over here to fight Froch. However, I don't see it being any closer than the 118-110 I think I had it the last time round.
