Haven't been able to see this fight yet because at work.

I would have been shocked to see Donaire get mowed down by the Monster because he's too big, huge power, experienced. I knew Nonito wouldnt disappoint.

Can't wait to get home and watch this.

Funny how good guy like Donaire got 10x more heart and toughness than ****-stain thug like Kovalev. Being 36yo and in this physicall condition at bantam weight is crazy.

He took a hell of a beating in a fight that was prolonged by the boxers wearing pillow like Winning brand gloves, and a ref who blew Inoue's knockout victory. Plenty of refs would have stopped the carnage late in the fight when Inoue was turning Donaire into Jack the Pumpkin King.

Didn't say that. He showed plenty of it, I just won't sit here and glorify stupidity though with boxers getting brain bleeds and dying several times this year. Yes it was fun, and exciting, but the fight should have been stopped. Inoue probably took a few years of off Donaire's life.

There's a fine line between a fighter taking an beating and being stopped prematurely... Whenever I thought the ref was about to step in or donaire was done he pulled out a big shot to stop inoue in his tracks... Good reffing in my opinion

I'll add a asterisk here... Minor referee **** up getting between inoue and donaire when we weren't sure whether nonito was gonna do a marathon or take a knee

the referee did mess up. He took like 4 seconds to go down and stayed down for another 14. At the same time, it didn’t change the outcome and if you’re knocked out, then you’re knocked out? He certainly wasn’t as he lasted another 4 minutes. What a warrior. And what a left hook he has.

Swear... How inoue took that counter left in the 11th when donaire was hurt I have no idea.... His ****in head and neck went into the cheapseats... And he didn't give a **** lol

I'll miss nonito when he hangs them up... So many brilliant ko's and a warrior and a gent

This is not the only fight he showed ticker ( fight of the year). The fight with Juarez in Puerto Rico. Ricans were on their feet and egging both fighters as they trade bombs. Screaming like crazy blood thirsty fans they were. Had hair standing on the back of my neck as they exchange in close quarters.

His stock went up after this one. People were too quick to write him off. He is still a great fighter, he just limited himself for a time by relying on power - who could blame him though? If I could blast guys out like that I would be relying on one shot ay a time too. The names on his resume are outstanding, I really love his fighting spirit, win or lose.

You love to see an old warhorse with one last ride in him.
