The Notion that Manny Pacquiao has declined stupidest thing I've ever heard

you may laugh but i'm serious.

This current version of Pac could lose to Bradley or Rios.

Don't you agree that the Pac that beat Cotto or Hatton would beat beat Rios and Bradley easier than the current Pac?

I don't believe Pacquiao has dramatically declined, but he does seem to be a bit slower than he once was. Not surprising.

Pacquiao's athleticism has declined. It's clear to see he's not as quick on his feet and doesn't have the same consistent spring in his step that he used to at the lighter weights. His handspeed is noticeably slower, also. That shouldn't be a surprise seeing as he's 33, added muscle, and been in about 60 professional fights, many of which were serious battles. Skill-wise and technically, he's probably as good as he's ever been, however.

Look, nobody is questioning that a prime Manny Pacquiao was the greatest boxer in the history of the sport. Even MW wouldn't argue that - nobody has ever been anywhere close. 8 titles in 34 different weight classes. Anybody that says Ray Robinson was better is either black or gay and thus can relate to a lanky african american fellow named "Sugar". Pacquiao would obviously KO him within 90 seconds at any weight.

Manny Pacquiao knocked out Ricky Hatton (possibly the most impressive win in boxing history). He utterly dominated Joshua Clottey (a fight in which Pacquiao was a 600:1 underdog).

All we're saying is that the Pacquiao of 2012 could not handle the prime Pacquiao of earlier 2012.

He looks like a god when he fights brawlers who fight in straight lines and he looks like a putz when he fights guys with good lateral movement and good right hands. It's not rocket science, black magic, leg cramps, wearing the wrong socks, not holding his mouth right, decline in physical ability or anything that his nuthuggers can concoct, it is just the Sweet Science. The guy has exceedingly poor footwork, still relies far too heavily on the left hand, is still wide open for a good straight right, and he's become a relatively safe fighter which prevents him from exploiting his main advantages of blinding speed, huge power, and superior Chin. When faced with a technical Boxer he is at a massive disadvantage and that disadvantage has become greater because he is now reluctant to use his physical gifts to combat it.

Floyd would **** him up and you have to be delusional as hell to not see this.

Floyd Jr. don't think so, hence the reference to health concerns in the Costas interview.

Lets see his up coming fight against Bradley and we'll find out how he is. If he loses the fight then he should hang them up.

  14. Pacquiao is more proven than Mayweather.
    Mayweather is better skilled.

Floyd really does not have any impressive wins near the caliber of Pacquiao's MAB victory.
Pacquiao's wins over Hatton at 140, Cotto at 145 and Oscar, Marg and Shane were one sided beatodwns.
Floyd's wins are good but he never showed the complete domination like Pacquiao did once he entered 140 +. Gatti at 140 ? Hatton 147 ? Ortiz 147 ? The 3 have no big wins at those weights.

As a fan of floyd and JMM i am in minority in thinking Manny won 7 rounds easily vs JMM in III.

Bradley fight is no walk in the park and p4p Bradley has accomplished more than Sergio Martinez.

I was drunk when I watched that, so I don't remember everything, but I am assuming that Floyd was referring to Pac being on PEDs. That means jack**** and Floyd isn't really worried about whether he is doing them or not, he's simply calling him on it because he thinks he is.

Why don't you focus on the technical breakdown I provided above and explain how Pac can counter a stylistic match-up that is as disadvantageous as this one is? Oh, that's right, because you are a disgraceful nuthugger who only wants to lick the balls of your hero.
