Impossible to vote, I'm looking forward to most of those at the same exact level. Marquez vs Katsidis, Williams vs Martinez, Pacquiao vs the master of plaster, Ward vs Dirrell, Froch vs Abraham... I mean seriously, how can anyone select from that list?, at least I can't.
I don't understand how 35% of boxing fans have gone for Pac-Margo. There are least four better fights listed, and that's being conservative. (no *****)
I agree, I guess that's a very telling stat because you have hardcore fight fans who want to see competitive fights, and you have hardcore fans of one single fighter who just want to see that fighter fight.
or you have hardcore fight fans who want to see the best boxer in the world facing a former champion who has a huge size advantage and nothing to lose at this point. You don't have to be a fan of a single fighter to want to see the p4p best fighter fight. Any fan of boxing should want to see that. Same way I enjoyed watching Ali against Cleveland Williams even though it wasn't competitive.
I think most hardcore fight fans are very fickle and look at the Pacquiao vs Margarito match-up with a critical eye. First of all I agree that Pac-Man is the best active p4p fighter in the world. Secondly, Margarito? Most of us feel that Margarito is too slow, he doesn't really know how to box, and he's gonna be an easy target for Pac come the 13th of November.
Truth be told the only one I'm not overly excited to see is Pavlik vs Vera, all of the other fights I'm looking forward to because these are good fights. The other one that I'm not looking forward to as much as the others is Pacquiao vs Margarito because I feel this is a mismatch in which Margarito will turn into a punching bag. Now that's from a fight standpoint, from an athlete standpoint, I can't wait to see Pac.
not a duff fight among them really (maybe the pavlik one), but Juan v Michael is the pick of the bunch for me........
