It's honestly impressive with the amount of dangerous hitters that Parker has faced on his resume. These are some of the biggest punchers in today's HW era. Only puncher he hasn't been in the ring with are Daniel Dubois and Kabayel. The definition of fearless. Anthony Joshua - 89% KO ratio Joe Joyce - 93% KO ratio Deontay Wilder - 97% KO ratio Zhilei Zhang - 81% KO ratio Fabio Wardley - 95% KO ratio
Whilst I don't think Joe was ever top tier, he is fit, game and quite crafty. I don't think we should jump on another bandwagon with Fabio but neither should we underestimate his achievement. Zhang, Wilder, AJ..none of them could stop him. Yes big JJ did but there is an illness asterisk there, and if this is true it still took a sustained beating to get him out of there. If Wardley a great boxer? Demonstrably not. But he is a hard, dangerous man, a chin of iron, a warriors heart and hammers for fists. It can be argued he has just beat the second best active heavyweight based on his run of results...sometimes ya don't gotta be good, ya just gotta stay in it. And Wardley is always in any fight he is in....
He was obviously going to fight KO 95% Dubois too To be fair, KO% can be deceptive. Sometimes you get prospects with low KO% whose CVs are heavy with extremely durable journeymen who have hundreds, 100 + or dozens of fights and have fought everyone but rarely get stopped and then you get fighters like Gassiev for example whose KO 78% whilst very high is not an accurate reflection of his savage power. Vitali has a higher KO% than Wlad's but Wlad was clearly the bigger puncher But AJ, The Dosser, Big Bang, Dubois and Fabio are all legit massive punchers. Big Joe Joyce hits very hard when he sits down on his punches and doesn't throw arm punches but not on the same level as those. But even his arm punches are heavy
Joyce isn't a big puncher he is a big man respectable power but I have a hard time classifying him as a puncher he is known for his high workrate
