I think it's pretty obvious that Bronerwas asked to move up two weight classes do that he would be on the fast track to fight Floyd Mayweather as Floyd wraps up his SHO deal. I think GBP will look to put Broner in there either in Mayweather's 5th or 6th fight of the deal. Both guys like each other but I'm sure after Haymon, Schafer, and SHO sports put the pressure on both guys they will eventually fight.

So the question is, how would Broner do a year and a half from now against Mayweather after allowing himself to grow into the weight and testing himself against stiff competition?

He caught the weakest belt at 147lbs.

    He'll go down again.

I don't think that fight will ever happen. I'm not a fan of Broner but moving up two weight divisions to beat a formidable champion like Malignaggi is not an easy task. Malignaggi was also coming off two solid victories over Sanchenko(in his hometown) and Cano. I'm hoping to see him fight the likes of Khan, Marquez, Pacquiao, Bradley, Alexander, Brook and many more in the division.

I thought he just lost that one to be honest but the hate he gets on here is over the top. He is only 23 and jumped two weight classes at the end of the day.
