I read the article, and I have mixed feelings on it.
First the author writes for mainstream mag, Esquire. Little truth from MSM pubs.

Then it is as if he wishes to preempt the upcoming press conference with his psychobabble. And plants the meme of a frequently crying Gatti.
Seems to leave out that those tearful events were for getting his face all cut up and fights stopped. No longer had those worries.

But his own article has the seed of destruction for his, or others' pyschobabble:

"... the police could never get past the murder physics: that this tiny woman could have overpowered and killed the former champion of the world." And other facts.

The murder physics, as he calls it, hangs this woman and her accomplices IMO.

Psychobabble loses always to the laws of physics.

    Gatti and Arguelo were murdered!

Gatti appears to be about to get some justice--or at least recognition. Because of Govt corruption, it looks like Arguelo never will.

    Damn, sorry to hear that.

Life is very complicated and it's rather simplistic and silly to simply watch a guy box and conclude he couldn't have killed himself because of the resilience he showed in the ring. We have little idea what goes on in their personal lives and their emotional state. Not to mention the studies correlating brain trauma with depression/suicide. It was damn near impossible to watch him fight and not think that he'd suffer some brain damage. It's no secret that alcohol abuse has a correlation with depression and suicide as well.

That's not to say Gatti certainly killed himself. I have my suspicions that he was murdered, but it has nothing to do with his heart as a fighter. It's because of the fact that the benificiary of the life insurance policy was his wife, and the investigation said it was unlikely that the purse strap could stand the weight of a man of his size.
