    Been watching this and is there one Heavyweigth or Super Heavyweight that can throw punches in Combination? I just watched two Super Heavyweights in what looked like a drunken bar fight. One punch at a time and sloppy footwork afterwards then clinch and repeat over and over...:-(

    zab was an alternate on the same team with floyd, tarver, vargas, david diaz and nate jones.

    he loss to david diaz in the trials.

    i'd like to see how they do the draws for the brackets. seems to me we had to face plenty of russians (or former soviet) boxers in the opening rounds of competition.

    Well I know they have rankings, that's how Rau'shee got his First round bye. Now how do they rank beyond that I think is determined by the AIBA and then from there they just take the highest ranking guys at the olympics and plug.

    So if the World rankings of guys at the olympics is 1, 4, 8, 17, 19, 20, etc.

    1 will be the 1 seed
    4 will be the 2 seed
    8 will be the 3 seed, etc.

    i havent seen the fight yet, fell asleep watching the fight before as it was on at 11.15.....the judges wernt british.....but its no worse than the usa where oscar can lose 8 rounds v sturm and come away with a win. where holyfield can lose 8 rounds and 'draw' with lennox.

    All our guys are still in. A lot to be proud of...we're taking a serious medal haul in the boxing :happy

    Joshua did get lucky though last night. Massively impressed by some of the US guys as well. Bring on the next few days!
