Ive discussed Liverpool with you before, you were on the 'lets all laugh at Liverpool' thread a while back when we had a bad patch in form. Im from Liverpool and im a red. Everythin' i said is right, you're gunna think that you're on our level because of the placements of our teams, oh please. Very silly, just shows you guys will really say anythin' when it comes to Liverpool. Go and have a bath in lemon-juice!!! And what you said about B-Hop? Lets not even get into it
One thing about X. HE DID IT HIS WAY. He fought like a man and trained like a man. Really hope he wins tonight but if not he's still a legend. He really is the American story. Not a fighter a have more respect for.
well done for posting this...you worded it perfectly...and am so glad to read this thread on here... tonight will have a tinge of sadness for me as i have followed hopkins career most of my adult life... joe calzaghe should be honoured and feel privilaged to have shared a ring with a true legend of this sport... i would have loved to have seen a rematch with roy jones.. i hope bernard gets a standing ovation at the end of tonights fight whatever happens.. again...well done for starting this thread...:thumbsup
Nice thread. This is what boxings all about. And we all had a good laugh when they showed themselves up for being complete bottlers in Europe.
i hope the calzaghe supporters dont boo hopkins...i know its the natural thing to do when your supporting the other man...but hopkins deserves to be idolised by true fans of this sport...for what he has done for so long and his achievements...he deserves the full respect of anyone who truely likes this sport... to boo him, to me, looks like such an ignorant thing to do...this man has been boxing greatness..
Well said. And an extra thanks to Hops for showing me that passing the 40 year old mark doesn't mean you no longer can compete at a high level. :good
Can't fault his achievements, but my personal opinion - a bore in the ring and a bore out of the ring with his life story on an endless loop replay.
