The Official Adam Kownacki vs. Charles Martin Prediction Thread

You’ll have to remind me Reg but imo with Miller who I don’t doubt is one of the top guys,whilst guys like Parker and Whyte,Takam v Chisora,AJ v Povetkin,Wilder v Ortiz and possibly Pulev v Fury all Miller does is fight guys with names that we’d recognise but have very little substance too em,Hearns not daft it’s just his thing picking washed up names.

Not saying Kownacki is tops or anything and likewise Martin but still it’s better than a Washington and there’s plenty more top ten to twenty opponents who Miller could be fighting in meaningful fights instead of 80/20 jobs.
Guess you can tell that I’m not a Miller fan lol?seems a decent bloke but something about him getting bigger and bigger,eating burgers just really bugs me lol.

 

You said it....50/50 that’s the key thing no matter what level we as boxing fans wanna see competitive fights instead of 80/20 rubbish.to be fair it looks like the rest of the HW division is also going this way.

 

Very hard to gauge that AJ performance as it must be frightening facing 80.000 fans.

 

Miller isn't quite where the names you mentioned are at yet. He's ready to be there it's just getting somebody to agree to fight him. I don't know if the problem is on Millers end or not, I'm just pointing out that Miller stepped up through the ranks and consistently fought good opposition rather than dipping in and out of contender level. Personally I think Washington is on the same level as Kownacki who I just don't rate as high as everyone else seems to. Still better than Martin.

 

Yep granted he’s not like Martin himself who when he fought AJ we were struggling to find anything on him lol

I wouldn't be upset if got a title shot but earned is a stretch.

 

Tough one to predict.Going with Kownacki by KO.

 

It's an interesting matchup, I'm not sure who will win. I think a Martin win is somewhat more likely although I'm rooting for Kownacki.

Both are hard punchers and both are easy to hit. Kownacki will either knock Martin out, or be knocked out himself.

 

Martin has all the tools to beat Kownacki, the question is how much inactivity in rounds does it favor Kownacki here who has had many more rounds recently and a very good training camp ?

Interesting fight which should be really good.

Im going with the much bigger and faster puncher who has underated power ...Martin.

Strange alot of alot are forgetting what a mental midget Martin is. I'm absolutely convinced that he will fold, kownacki will be confident and has a big heart. Never underestimate the heart of a fighter, Martin has knocked out bums.

 

Pxssy is a major weakness of his even more then drugs.

 

He should just stick to that. However I doubt Martin trains particularly hard, he doesn't have the fighters edge.

 

Watched an interview with him recently where he was training , Roger Mayweather and Tillman were there with him. During the interview they were all talking how hard he was training and how hard he hits and the Kownacki fight. He mentioned being away from his gf in the interview. This is a good fight. But I will stick with Adam but wouldnt mind seeing Martin pull off a great comeback to his career. I like this fight. Something different then the Chisora Whyte Parker Merry go round bull shxt.

 

Martin IS a bum, and he will be predictably knocked out in this fight - in fact, probably quite early. His chin is terrible and his mentality is worse. He is going to be destroyed.
