    great fight. both men had great pieces of action.

    but this has tarred a great figth and a win mares would of probably been able to get. had mares been deducted or actually warned in the 4th and 5th then we would of had a fair fight.

    the calling of a knockdown was crazy

    anyone want to get him removed or investigated? because seriously there is no need for this type of chaff

    And the yanks complain about German refs?..That's the biggest fix I've ever seen in 15 years of watching this sport!

    Wasn't this the same guy as in the Guerrero vs Katsidis fight? Katsidis threw two low blows and got two points off in Round 7.

    EDIT: Yes, it was, so what was he doing last night?

    Sign me up. He's shocking.

    When i saw it was him beforehand i was dissapointed anyway. Never let him ref big fights again.

    Jim Gray is a ****ing ledge!!!! i don't care what anyone says the guy is the sorta guy i wanna see interviewing people. None of the ***** footing around ****.

    Look @ Mares when ref steps in to call kd. His face is scared he knows he's hit low and is worried ref will deduct point. Says it all....

    I didn't even watch the fight but Mares is a dirty fighter and seems to be like Willy Jorrin but instead of atrocious scorecards he just hits low on a regular basis.

    This ref is just a cheat and should be banned for life not just from big fights, but from refereeing and fight again

    He was also the ref that allowed the Donaire-Montiel fight to go on after Montiel was practically having a seizure when he was knocked down. He DQ'd Peterson in the Rios fight for low blows so it's not as if he has no history of taking the necessary action when a fighter is knocked down.

    He needs to be dropped, was a horrific performance and as above it's not the only major **** up from him this year.

    On another note I hate Golden Boy Promotions, I really do. Has anyone noticed how much dodge **** goes (poor judging, refs, dodgy signings) on with them, far more than any other promoter other than possibly Saureland and they came into the Sport with this declaration of cleanliness that is clearly a load of bs.
