Seanchai's off the bill on the 9th with a neck inflammation.......over exhausted? old injury? Seanchai's got a worried promoter? Seanchai's worried about his rep? Who knows what ever the real reason it's a shame as the timing for this fight will never be better than now with singsans win & then loss respectively and if he really is injured lets hope it heals up soon.

I don't see a problem with both guys winning it. They're both phenomenal talents at only 16, one has beaten all the biggest names around and one won 4 stadium belts in under a year.....WOW! Maybe the 4 stadium belts pips it for me but then again Yodvichas fights were so high profile......

By the way Seangmanee is somewhat of a gay pin up here.....

A shared Sportswriters of Thailand boxer of the year award. For sure neither of these guys deserves to be past over. You really got to be excited for both these fighters future careers.
Yodvicha is a monster. I would only favor Seanchai slightly over him. To bad the fight was canceled, really was looking forward to that. Lots of other good fights on the card to look forward to.

Thanks for the info Boran. Will Yodvicha still have an opponent on the 9th?

Sorry Yaca mate pushed for time. Things are looking a bit touch and go for the card.......either genuine exhaustion or fearful greedy promoters, infact more likely a mix of the two!

    Thanks to CC of FSA:

So, Seanchai Yodwicha is happeneing.....May 10th. :D I very well may be back in town for this one, fingers crossed I wouldn't wann miss the buzz in Lumpinee for this one. This is a massive fight, if Seanchai's healed properly it's his. Yodwicha's come forward knee specialist style is tailor made for Seanchai's tricky trips, pulls, throws and counter kicks. HOWEVER, Seanchai's injury was a neck injury nad when your recovering from a neck injury the last thing you want is a hungry, stronger, younger, taller knee specialist pulling down & yanking on your neck in the clinch!!!!:yep It ain't gonna be pretty but its gonna be interesting........

Just in case you haven't already heard, since Buakaw has parted ways with Thai Fight, he's got together with his sponsors Top King are setting up a rival FTR three round promotion called MAX. They've got some of the best Thai talent at 70kg on board, Khem, Aikprecha, Petchasawin etc. as well as some top farang. Five nights are penciled in with the first on May the 6th in Surin, Issan in a 4 man tourney format with undercard fights, culmianting in a $30,000 final. They also promise quality Thai's vs Farang in

bouts, which is what Thai Fight hasn't been delivering of late. The truth is though whenever you have aThai vs Farang format I question how competitive it really can be.......

Predictably, Thai Fight have got their knickers in a twist and are suing the new promotion for 100 million baht!!!! :-(

    Here's the Max promo vid:

Looks like a good card. Glad to finally see Saenchai vs Yodwicha. So Charoensap will be fighting? Who is his opponent Thailand Pinsinchai?

Buakaw can end up fighting Khem or Aikpacha in this tournament? If so this is a lovely idea. I'v heard many things on buakaws contract so I guess no one really could say with a certainty what his schedual will look like.

Boran has hit the nail on the head for his Saenchai-Yodwicha breakdown.

Either another brilliant scalp for one of the ATGs or the crowning of a new king.

I know what you mean about the lay out of the tournament unless I'm reading it wrong, yeah it looks like the Thais can meet. But I don't reckon that's the case I'll be very surprised if that happens. I think that's one reason why Thai Fight are suing is the "theft" of the Thai vs Farang format. Can't imagine Buakao willingly fighting Aikpreecha especially these days where it seems his competitive fighting days are behind him.

Don't think I know who Thailand is....may have watched him without knowing. By the way that's not the full card there are a few more bouts, but not big big names.

I might play devils advocate here and predict Seanchai pulls out...... It's a big ask to face a guy like Yodwicha as your next opponent after that neck injury, but then again Seanchai ain't the norm.

    Tomorrow's the day!!!

Saenchai by decision, pisses it, unless he's knackered and Yod pulls out 4&5.
