As I simply can't stay off ESB during the Olympics, some addictive **** this place. I thought we should have a thread where everyone can come and have a nice winge and moan when a decision goes a point or two adrift of what they were expecting.

Especially when British boxers are given the slightest benefit of the doubt :good

Easy there, Stuey is a top poster....

In regards to this though, I strongly disagree with his attitude.

The thread is a bit tongue in cheek. Although it's getting very boring all the moaning etc....

As for calling me a **** ......maybe following my rule of only saying to a man over the web that what you would say to his face might be worth a shot. :good

It's the same with any amateur event. Not been a great overall competition not too many stand out fighters this year. The Mexican Valdez is the one I've thought has looked great.

Re read the post, never said say it to my face, I am 39 not 9. As for not caring, I run a very successful gym sand have boxers competing week in week out and week in week out I see bad decisions because boxing is such a subjective sport to score. I am as frustrated as anyone when decisions are blatantly bad but most of what is being bitched about on here are decisions that truly could have gone either way.

    Sign me up.

Getting robbed in the Amateurs is a nice way of prepraring these guys for what life is like as a pro!

But seriously, Boxing is corrupt as ****. Everyone knows this. Its one of the drawbacks of supporting the noble art

who are you dogtag, you are a alias of someone, you remind me of someone else:think
anyway, there will always be close fights in boxing where someone says he won and someone says the other won,the fights with the english lads were close, simple.
i aint seen much in the way of protests from the other boxers(apart from the indian fellow)and with the few fights which have been overturned which were blatent robberys, you would think if these fights with our boys were such robberys the opposite corner would of complained and got the decision over turned :roll:have they,no,so everyone should just shut the **** up and let them get on with it.

oh and dogtag,i will put money on that stuey has forgot more about the ins and outs of the boxing game than you will ever know, infact i bet i ****ing have,**** :smooch

If there's anything bent, I think it's the promotion of utterly incompetent judges to positions they have no business being in as part of a horse trading excecise, keeping other nations sweet and that sort of nonsense. I don't doubt that everybody at least thinks they're doing the right thing on teh day. Even the twat who told his mum he was going to be on teh telly so ruined 4 years of graft for that Iranian lad to attract some attention.

In short. Now the judges are in situ, it's incompetence, not corruption. And yes, far too much squealing about close fights being "robberies", like they don't happen every week in the pros.

Stuey, I would happily call you a slap headed, soppy clown to your face, but as you won't be going to the pub in London for another couple of decades, I'm going to have to get on a train to do it. Still awaiting dates from Mrs Stuey....

Ha ha, I love it when the name calling begins! corrupt / incompetence whatever it is it makes the sport look bad.

We all know that the hometown boxers are going to get a few extra points, it happens all the time and is more than lilkely influenced by the cheers of the crowd, this is the same in the pro game and is nothing new.

Wont stop us having an opinion and thats what I like, Its just some people are better at putting thing's across on a forum and other clearly are trolling..like it or not it is what it is!
