I got a bet with Super Hands on the Porter-Brook fight.

You can get Ustinov by KO around +650. Fury is just about at the peak of his popularity, but also just about as ripe as he's ever going to be for an upset. People in the UK love to gamble themselves so the lines on British fighters are often skewed.

Good example is Haye vs Wlad closing at almost evens in some books.

Anyway Fury has got huge defensive liabilities and few boxers are ever successful at heavyweight with sub-standard chins.

Definitely putting a few bucks on Ustinov. I'm patiently waiting on the odds for the Rios-Chaves fight. Chaves may be underestimated by the oddsmakers. I think he'll have an easier time beating Rios than Abril did.

I'd imagine Chaves will be at least +350.

I don't know if Rios needs much more than a chin and punch to take Chavez out though... Chaves undoubtably fades and Rios and his brick head if one thing is going to be there for 12 rounds.

Chaves's conditioning shouldn't be much of a concern given that it's a 10-round fight, not twelve. I believe he has ability to outbox Rios with ease as long as he paces himself and pick his shots wisely.

Just because a top P4P fighter in Pacquiao and an ultra negative spoiler out boxed Rios doesn't mean anyone can, whether they know what needs to be done in the ring to win or not.

It's a styles thing, Chaves can do an imitation of a boxer but he's not a true one... He has defensive liabilities and I'd be very surprised if he didn't get dragged into a meat grinder of a war with Rios.

I'd love to see Chavez pull it out but against whom has he shown the ability to consistently box without being hit?

Hell yeah man, bet the house on Porter.... I don't see how Brook wins this one really, Porter is just too powerful/aggressive for him. He's going to come at Brook 120 MPH and knock him spark out!

I agree. Safe bet, nearly 25% return. In the stock market, that's a big score.

The thing is, you don't have to be a good boxer to defeat Rios. A slugger like Alvarado was able to outbox him. Nothing against the guy but Rios isn't facing C-level fighters anymore. Plus, he won't have his usual size advantage now that he's campaigning at welterweight. You have to be able to adapt and make the necessary adjustments in order to succeed at this level which is something Rios cannot do. In regards to his chin, you can only hammer a brick wall so many times before it falls apart. Look for Chaves to repeatedly land that sneaky right hand counter that will make Rios think twice about rushing in. Chaves by decision or late stoppage.

The Geale thing was me making a gamble that didn't pay off, However Brook has a prety sharp jab that could keep Porter at bay, and if Porter charges him he may get KO'd. Paulie didn't have a chance against Porter, the way he stood left him open to Porter's hooks, he won't have that advantage with Brook.
