im loving it at the minute, buts it's nothing to do with the cards ****** is putting on. It's the international fights being broadcasted.

 

What would the Mayweather card have cost, something like £100'000? So around 10'000 subs a month isn't far off covering that.

 

u reckon a 100,000? i think it would be alot more then that considering they make about 60 million on a mayweather fight over there, must have been a mill at least imo, just a figure off the top of my head. wouldnt have a clue tbh.

 

also pretty sure khan is getting 1 mill per fight from sky, so if u set that as the mark, now compare what type of money mayweather would command? definately talking millions.

Does anyone actually know how much channels pay to broadcast international fights?

 

like i said the fight is worth 60+ milll in the states so the question is what is it worth outside america? 1 mill would be less then 2% of that so sounds reasonable,

I think he fought last on Primetime against Ortiz and got around 20'000/30'000 ppv buys so it wouldn't be that much.

 

ye but with ppv he probably gets his cut afterwards, whereas with sky/boxnation they would pay for it upfront, primetime get the fight on tick, lol

 

then again they deal in dollars we deal in pounds so probably around 600k = 1 mill dollars.
