The fight MIGHT be worth $60m after PPV. It is NOT worth $60m guarantees. Even the thickest promoter wouldn't **** that away - that's a huge chunk of HBO's original programming budget!

You can only sell the international rights for what they're worth. Cotto and Mayweather aren't draws individually in the UK. They need to be matched with a marketable fighter like Hatton.

It was a decent fight but there are only so many times that you can actually watch Clev - Bellew. Come 11:30 on a Sunday night, its last orders and I've just got enough for a pint I know where its going. Boxnation, or any other channel, can't survive on 30 - 40,000 subscribers a month.

Has anyone else noticed that Sky give longer interviews for the winning fighter at the end of a fight? I seem to remember people whinging, rightly so, on here and Ed Robinson coming on to explain.

I've been impressed with Boxnation......I was going to subscribe the other day but Virgin's site don't allow you to do it online which pissed me off.

 

i ordered last night and i was surprised how easy it was, signed up for a month turned around typed in 456 into my sky plus remote and hey presto there it was, great service fish eyes well done
