He is not a puncher and has KOed exactly two fighters of note, namely Glass Jaw Paul and Dzinziruk who is an overrated Eurobum. He did not one punch Cintron, he knocked him down and he never tried to get up because he believed he had been butted or believed (accurately) that he could bull**** the ref into buying that. Also, Cintron is a joke and a fraud, as well, even if he had legitimately KOed him it wouldn't speak volumes about Martinez's punching prowess.

Yes, Ishida did stagger Williams with a punch. Williams' Chin is nowhere near the level of pathetic that Kirkland's is so he stayed upright and cleared the cobwebs quickly, but the fact remains, Ishida at one point stiffened him up and he has absolutely ZERO punching power.

And you're really going to try and paint Floyd as a puncher at WW? I am one of the biggest Floyd fans here but I am under no delusions as to his power. He has stopped three guys at 147, Sharmba Mitchell, Ricky Hatton, and Quitor Ortiz. They all have notorious Glass Jaws.

You can pretend to be butted without sitting on the ground. Latter he said that he was hit so hard that it could only be a headbutt. Martinez has KO in 3 out of his last four matches at MW.You can not labeled glass jawed a fighter just because he was KOed. Was Duran glass jawed ??

Floyd is growing into the division his power now at 147 is a lot more important than when he first came.

The top three are all interchangable in my opinion. Jones is shot so fair play to an ATG. But Khan and Kirkland are poor in the chin department. Khan has awful defence, when he goes to welter hes going to get seriously hurt.

Did I say that it didn't knock him down or hurt him? It did. He is also a Glass Jawed Joke with a history of disgraceful quitjobs. Darren Barker is a British-level fighter with the typical British-level Chin and Dzinziruk is also a Hype Job. Martinez is not Tommy Hearns. End of discussion.:deal

And Floyd's power is inconsequential at 147. His fights there tell the story.

I may be British but the fact that people continue to argue in favor of Khan's chin is truly lamentable. The man got dropped in 52 seconds by an overrated fighter he took too lightly. Unless the other fighter has a large heavy object, then there is no way you can get KO'd in less than a minute and not have a glass jaw. Khan has talent yes but he also packs a glass jaw :deal. It can happen just look at Tommy Hearns ATG talent, power and everything else a boxer needs, but still packed a glass jaw :smooch
