:nono The Chin Checkers have invested more time on this subject - closely scrutinizing the chins, while most of us focus on the fight, and fighters "as a whole." Imagine if you said "form here on out, I am going to mainly focus on a boxer's hand speed" - then after years, and years of study, you would become more learned, and knowledgeable on boxer's "hand speed". . .


But I do agree with the second part I highlighted - Khan does have a better chin that suspected. . . After showing his chin is sturdy enough to stand up to numerous clean right hands from Maidana, with only doing one minor stanky leg, it gives him more credence. . . However, it can't be overlooked that he did get starched. From henceforth he should be subject to closer viewing; put it "under the microscope", if you will. . . But as of now, he doesn't deserve to be mentioned along the likes of Enzo MAC'N'CHEESE, James Kirkland, Roy Jones Jr. . .

 

They may have, but the random guy comment was uncalled for, my opinion is as valid as anyone elses on here.

 

Nobody probably remembers him, but Mundine deserves to be top 5 on that list.

He was KO'd by Sven Ottke, who Mundine himself said hit like a girl. That alone is enough to crack the top 10.

Mundine was also put to sleep for a few seconds and dropped by a guy called Crazy Kim, was floored by another Jap Nishizawa and Manny Siaca, and was KTFO by a football player with 10 fights, Garth Woods (in a 'Contender' ripoff money grab).

 

It is. . . Especially when discussing boxing overall. . .

But you must stand down to the reasoning of the Chin Checkers win it comes to discussing glass jaws, and iron jaws.

 

I agree. . . Next month voting I will be sure to add him on my list. . .


hahahah I could watch a gif of sven knocking him out cold all day. . . It wasn't even a TKO stoppage, it was a COLD, CRACKING, one-punch knockout. . . Hahaha and the funniest part is the ******* REF hovered over him, and gave him the full ten count when he was literally ASLEEP.

I mean from the perspective of people who are fans of some of the fighters who make these rankings. Namely Roy Jones, Jr. -- That's how they take it. You've had people take the time create alts and dedicate threads to you over it. :rofl

 

This website would not be able to function without the ChinCheckers. That is a Fact. We are a very valuable commodity to ESB.

 

I get what you mean, and I do agree they do all have Glass Jaws, but the point of your post is to let everyone know your opinion as was mine to let people know my own, lets be honest, mine wern't exactly stabs in the dark either.

 

One thing that is irritating now, is people making out that JCC jr has an iron/granite chin. He's faced no notable power punchers yet, guys like Zbik are feather fisted, Andy Lee isn't a puncher. I'll reserve judgement on Chavez's chin until he steps in with a notable puncher

 

That is an irrefutable fact, these chincheckers are one of ESB's biggest attractions, and I for one, would like to personally thank these punch resistance specialists for raising my awareness to the fact that glass jaws exist in boxing.

 

Very good source of entertainment.

I only wish there would be more praise for Iron Chinned Warriors in equal proportion.
