It's not the first time that Dunky has 'left ESB', I'm sure it won't be the last.

IMO, if you shout your mouth off, you should back up your words.

When I joined Dunky was leaving ESB for something or other...

I can't remember if it was because of Alex Arthur or "too many noobs"....

However, I lost a bet, & asked to have 5 posts left if I lost to say my piece on the other thread if things went wrong, which they did, much to my dismay...
I used 4 of them on the other thread, but after being suprised to see this thread, decided to keep my last post for this one!

For my haters here saying I will be back, well I used to throw my tantrums & say "Im leaving etc" & would always come back However though, its different this time, cos I made a bet, that honestly I only made cos I was sure I would win. It came back to bite me on the ass though, & now I have to pay the price. I had to get my comeuppance here sometime I suppose, Im a man of principle though, & take it on the chin.

Its funny in a weird way really, cos after I made my bet Scottys prison sentence came out of the blue. & when I first started posting here, I always said I would leave when scotty retired.
That prison sentence retired Scotty, & in the next 48 hours Appleby lost, which meant I lost the bet, which means its time for me to go.

Its weird how things work out sometimes, how fate comes fack to bite you on the ass.
Anyway. I hate long farewells, & I hope my lasting legacy to Brit ESB would be for people to think to themselves "I love this place, but I loved it more when Dunk was around"

When I first came to ESB Dunky and I had our issues to do with Kevin Anerson, my guy etc. However over time I have come to apprecite Dunky et al. In my view Dunky leaving will make ESB less. My view is simple Dunky must stay as he contributes so much to the ESB threads. We all don't always agree and quite frankly why should we. I don't want to miss Dunky rather I want him to stay and ESB needs Dunky and others.

 

he has a very very good knowledge of boxing but is obessesed with this i love scotland thing which infects nearly every thread he writes and is fundamentaly boring

Dunky's a legend.He stands his corner for the Scottish cause but he's no blind and blnkered patriot,he's considered and knowledgable.He's one of the first posters i rucked with and got on with on here. He's left before and returned,so i'm sure he'll be back.He's a good man.
