I think it was to do with "noobs"; we had a farewell thread and everything.

In my old "Scott Harrison v Naseem Hamed" fantasy match thread, he was the only one who voted for Harrison. I appreciated that.:good

I never want to see a good poster leave, so I hope he stays.

He could just create an alias and come back as "Cafferty McDunky"; no one need be any the wiser:deal

I think there'll be plenty of us sad to see Dunky go, I don't mind if he wants to stick around but if he decides to stay gone then that's his choice.

I remember the time I made an avatar bet with him(think it was regarding Hatton v Castillo) and after Hatton won the forfeit for him was to sport an avatar of an Irish boxer of Dunky's choice, the forfeit for me would of been a Scottish boxer.

Anyway it was a 2 week bet and Dunky could only last 2 days because he couldn't bare not having a Scottish fighter on his avatar , probably would of been easier for him to just take 2 weeks off posting than that.

Anyway the reason I quoted you Olu is I watched Devon Alexander recently and as much stick as I give Ajose and question what's he ever done to get a World title shot or eliminator(which is fair imo) he would hammer Alexander. There's got to be something dodgy about Alexander becomming WBC #1, he's very much a prospect and you can see he's still a prospect more than a contender. He'd get whupped by any real contender at this point in time.

 

As you know it is against my principles to have a professional boxer fight for free but it would be mighty tempting to beat Alexander for free and get the mandatory spot. You can see why Witter would rather fight Alexander than face his moment of truth against Ajose.

 

Sums up my feelings on the Scotland thing not from just Dunky but anyone who pursues it

It's so boring it actually, paradoxically, makes me really angry

 

At least Flint Ireland's pieces on Maccrinelli are mainly tongue in cheek, this guy let's his patriotism hammper his judgment so much it's shocking. Glad too see your doing the honorable thing though, looking very much forward to not having to read your drivel.

Phil McCafferty would be more appropriate in Dunkys case.
