yes it is. i don't like wilder but that is not a knock down and even if it was glancing blow (didn't look like he landed at all) still it would be flash knock down.

And this isn't the only time Wilder hit the canvas against one of the handpicked stiffs his management has padded his record with. Harold Sconiers (17-20 when he faced Wilder) knocked him down much worse. Curiously, that video has disappeared from the internet.

 

Someone needs to put up Wilders embarrasment so far including the numerous knock downs, stunnings and starchings even in sparring and thr ultimate; ktfo in thr AMS

 

If it wasn't a KD, why does Wilders team go to so much trouble to always get the video taken down when it appears???

 

He showboated and got KD heavily with a jab from a guy with a losing record ROFL.

Yeah, I'm 50/50 on it being a kd. Looked more like a balance thing, warped his leg out of position and he moved to avoid the punch and lost his balance. Not sure if the punch landed but he was probably going down either way.

This happens often enough with boxers and they don't get flak for it, but to be fair, I think the reason Wilder gets so much grief is because of all the showboating he was doing against such an obese and outmatched opponent. He looks like an idiot and bully who got his just deserts in the vid.

 

It happens (getting chided for kd and getting hurt) to Wilder because it keeps happening to him lmao... He was sparked clean by a LHW in the Ams. He was nearly KTFO by Haye in sparring. He was floored 3 times by Wlad jabs.

 

I think Nichols felt bad afterwards for Wilder. He didn't realize his chin is that bad so he retired the next round and went to the buffet :happy
