Yeah it is, the bowling department kinda picks itself, barring a personal choice or two, Warne, Murali, Kumble in the spin department, Ambrose, Walsh, McGrath etc with the quicks.

 

But for his serious back injury(s) - Ian Bishop would have been greater than Walsh or Ambrose...... according to Viv Richards.

Ambrose was the supreme fast bowling machine, hated giving away runs. Sometimes he was just too good, whereas Walsh was the scourge of left handers, who hated his bounce and angles.

 

A lot do.

It's a fair call, went from blasting people out with pace to doing them with swing - a bit like a combo of Wasim and Waqar...... best way to play that is to watch your mate at the other end!

 

I watch it all the time.

Also the 'Hall of Fame' programmes they have..... top class.

One I didn't like was the 'Top 10 British Olympic Moments' - the narrator tried to tell the viewers that Kelly Holmes started badly in both her races in 2004. If the clown had bothered to watch any 800m races from the past 100 years, he would know that the person leading at the bell generally finished outside the medals!

I've seen the Steve Waugh one - if you can get hold of his book it's a great read, tells of his self-doubt :shock: as a young cricketer and his struggles to establish himself, then insights into the success of the Aussie team.

Others - Ian Botham, Imran Khan (who I've always felt was overrated), Sobers, Warne, Greg Chappell, Barry Richards, Allan Border.
