    Quality Post.

    But I have to argue that, Juan Manuel Marquez and the word disheartened in the same sentence is improper grammar. Marquez ALWAYS has an iron unbreakable will, and a quick way to tell is that NO ONE can knock him out, and I think it will stay that way until he retires.

    Now, since you are predicting a Kat KO, It would be a MASSIVE statement by Katsidis and truely show he is officially an A class fighter on the world scene, and the sky would be the limit for him.

    War will be correct my man. I'm pumped for this one, I see foty written on it.

    I don't think Marquez has slipped, he takes it. In my opinion he's going to last like Hopkins did, with clear aging but such veteran experience and technical skill that he lasts longer than others on an elite level. I don't think he showed slipping in the last Diaz fight, he fought at his pace and outboxed Diaz almost every second of that fight and hurt him multiple times. He's not going to make it a war if the other guy doesn't, people seem to forget that which is displayed throughout his career except for the highlight matchups for obvious reasons.

    Katsidis has heart, power, and is physically very strong, but his chin isn't good enough to take the counters Marquez will be landing through his porous defense. Marquez by TKO in the middle rounds.

    I see the fight being competitive at first like Marquez-Diaz I but I got Marquez winning the fight by late TKO.

    I would be very impressed if Marquez gets the ko. If he scored the Ko over Diaz in the second fight I would have leaned more to a ko for him in this one.

    Marquez's counterpunching style is the aggressive fighter's kryptonite which is why I think he will defeat one of my favorite fighters, Michael Katsidis. Kats has improved significantly since his encounter with Diaz and his war with Casa, however at his core he is still a blood and guts banger with a come-forward aggressive style making him tailor-made for the mexican great. Kats will have had to improve alot and JMM will have had to decline alot in order for the Australian slugger to have anything but a puncher's chance. Technical Master vs. Powerful Slugger... Bring it on!

    Prediction: Marquez TKO's Katsidis mid to late rounds on cuts

    Yea I have to agree that the more like scenario for JMM to get a tko would be from cuts.

    Kat trying to straight box JMM is suicide. Pressure pressure pressure, inside work, is Kat's best chance.

    People thought Katsidis didn't have too much of a chance against Mitchell and he blew him out. Haha don't think for a second, that I'm comparing Mitchell to JMM, just pointing out the Katsidis has surprised us before.

    Katsidis could very easily keep this fight interesting at least for awhile, much like Diaz did in the first fight with JMM, but JMM will inevitably dissect Michael and at the least outbox him to a comfortable decision.

    But all Katsidis needs is a kd to keep it interesting if he does start getting outboxed.
