Some of the more extreme Marqueers had JMM sweeping the championship rounds.

i bet some of those who gave marquez 8 or 9 rounds for this fight gave most of the opening and closing rounds to marquez which i think should go to pacquiao. marquez' best body of work started from 5th round up to 7th round. he just took the gas off around the 10th.

Then you try to ask them why they scored those rounds for JMM prompting them to go on some irrelevant tangent about some intangible notion like ring generalship or dictating the pace and then you're left scratching your head....someone constantly backpedaling is ring generalship? Controlling the pace is synonymous with not engaging? I do agree, JMM did his best work in the midrounds and he scored the more decisive rounds and I had that fight even after 10 rounds. But I had no doubt Pac won it after ,11,12.

To be fair, Marquez landed some glancing counters as Pacquiao jumped out after landing a punch, which looked good, and Marquez finished with his best punch of the round, a solid right hand. (I laugh when people claim Pac stole rounds by doing nothing and then landing a punch at the end).

Alot of Pac's good work was missed. He won the 11th round clearly on clean and effective punching, and took round 12 easily by outboxing Marquez and giving him a lesson on how to finish a fight.

    Round 12

Jab, glancing counter right hook over Marquez jab leaning in, stops him throwing the right

Jab, then left hook counter ducking Marquez left hook and right hand, follow up left (blocked)

Straight left lead counter, slipping Marquez jab

Jab, left lead counter, ducks Marquez right hand

Pacquiao feints to draw Marquez into throwing a right, Pac lands a right hook to side of Marquez's head, slips all his punches except a low blow

Big straight left to end the round

Pacquiao also landed a jab, straight left, right hook combo at the 1:37 minute mark, unfortunately it was blocked by the ref. Marquez only landed one clean punch in the 12th, it was a good counter, but nowhere near enough.

I don't know what judge Glen Towbridge was doing giving Marquez the 12th. He's the one that had it 116-112. That wreaks of a bought scorecard, probably a make-up round by the judge realising he'd gone overboard having Pacquiao so far ahead. The criticism levelled at Pacquiao because of that scorecard is unfair, it's not his fault. The other two judges had it about right at a draw and 115-113 Pacquiao.

stfu man, you don't like the arguments they are using so you resort to name calling. can't you just accept that it was a close fight. Me personally, I had it a draw but I felt that marquez didn't do enough to win because he didn't take much of an effective aggressive posture for the fight, you can't just sit back like that and expect to win a fight especially when the other boxer is doing well.

I think a lot of these posters are right, you can't judge an effective fight on camera angles from the tv. There is a reason why the judges are just outside the ring, so they can get the closest view of the action. They are trained professionals that have been doing this for years but you a ****ing internet fat ass couch potato thinks he knows better. Get the **** out of here with that ****.

Manny got his a$$ whooped..spitting up blood in the middle of the fight is not good-

Manny would get picked apart by someone faster and with longer arms.

    Desperation at its best here.
Over 85% of the public know Marquez
Schooled Pac. Keep trying to prove Pac
did better than he did. Marquez schooled
him easily and thats all there is to it.
Ring magazine called robbery of the
year. Just look up Sky Sports post fight
reactions to the robbery. They called it disgusting. :deal
