What chump? I get no love? I thought we found common ground...you know we did agree that 1+1=2 and that your toes don't point up to the sky when you plant your lead foot....well **** you then byatch.

Good point. Pacquiao fans conveniently ignore the large distances JMM was regularly trying to cover to land a shot. You've got to take a big step forward to cover those kind of distances, obviously.

Yes you can extend your leg that far and plant your foot without the exaggerrated motion. But Chump man, thats the wrong choice of GIF. His leg looks like a heat-seeking missile targeting Pac's foot. The more inquiring minds would question why does he extend his leg that far and why does it conveniently land (in a pinning motion) on Pac's foot? And like the other examples, JMM follows it up with a combination. Does it still look natural to you?

exactly and watch his foot. It's always coming off the ground like that anyways

It's called leverage. Widening your stance adds leverage to your punches. And again, he was way on the outside, large distance to cover to land the punch. Obviously you've got to take a big step forward to reach from that distance. And tell me again how Juan targets Manny's foot like a 'heat seeking missile' when he's clearly looking at Manny's head, i.e. his target? Also, again, a move like this is no advantage to you when it puts you off-balance. Intentionally doing it makes no sense.

Clean left hand counter landed. Hit and dont get hit. Good example of JMM getting beaten to the punch :good

Yeah, especially noticable against Cassamayor in that video I think. He always makes the same forward move, with the left foot coming off the ground. I don't even know why we're still talking about this. :patsch

You ought to stop obsessing about the foot stomping, fella. I disagree with anyone saying JMM was robbed or schooled Pac, because in reality Pac showed excellent boxing skills over and over again. But the foot stomping is a non issue.

Smokin Joe already gave most of what I was gonna say and the video I posted shows Juan picks his toe off the ground often.

Look right here. Pay attention to his left foot

edit: matter a fact, everytime Juan takes a big step forward, he sticks his toe up. This topic is dead

Juan lifting his left foot as he always has + the distance he was trying to land shots from against Pacquiao = occasional accidental stamping. Complete non issue.
