its by default...there is no one else american thats a close second...love or hate it, be thankful floyd wasnt around in the early 90s when tyson, holyfield were around or floyd would have been on their undercards or just on HBO...

Anything over 1 million is a success...this $hit is ridiculous!! 1.25 million with a guy who is hardly known!

I would loved to have seen Arum's face when he heard this.

One question, what took so long?

I don't like Pacquiao as much as others. I respect him. I consider myself a big critic when it comes to Pacquiao, but I always hope his ppv numbers do good.

I don't think Ortiz knows how boxing (the business end) truly works yet.

takes a while, you have multiple Dish Companies, as well as cable providers, then you have those that were orders but had to be refunded (for technical issues IE: malfunctioning cable boxes and DVR's) Then you have people who ordered this abroad, in hotel rooms, internet PPV, most of those places take a while to compile their numbers. When you take alot of that into consideration waiting 4-6 weeks to get decent results is not unreasonable.

I think Ortiz still came out pretty good in the end. He will always hold popularity because of the indecent. Between the slug fest with Maidana and Berto and head butting Mayweather. If he could put a win streak together while getting another title at WW he could make some good money. He is still only 24
