I would have agreed with you 7 years ago but depression is a curse, I personally have never experienced depression and can't fathom myself being depressed but often the richest people are the ones who are most unhappy, a curse in China states "I hope all your wishes come true", once they all come true, you have nothing to aspire for, nothing to work towards, if you can buy everything that the world has to offer... there is nothing driving you forward, for example one of my dreams is to own a McLaren F1, if one day I manage to get it, one of my dreams will be fulfilled and no other car in the world will make me happy. Some people are born with certain mental defects or certain things can trigger the brain to start working differently and you have no control over it, it doesn't matter how tough or badass you are, you have no control over depression.

I have had experience with people who are depressed and trust me, being able to beat depression is no small feat, you are fighting with yourself everyday, venturing to the darkest parts of your brain and battling suicidal thoughts, asking yourself why am I alive, Life is pointless, why am I doing it all if I'll end up dead anyway. Depression is no joke and kudos for Tyson for being able to come out on top for now, I fear that if he beats Joshua and Wilder, he will go back to being depressed.

He sure went into depression when he was found out for Nandrolone. Make no mistake he won't get away with that kind of thing over in America. The bomb squad will make sure of that. Every trip to the toilet they'll be waiting with cups for him.

I'm a huge Fury fan and I'm also done listening to the mental health stuff but I can't blame Fury on it. It's the media highlighting it and asking questions about it constantly. What's he going to say; "I'm not taking about mental health anymore!" Yea, that would look great.

If his mental state is so fragile, he probably shouldn't be lining up to get his brain scrambled with millions watching.

Fight Night Champion for PS3. Best boxing game ever. Shame EA killed the saga.

BT are the ones choosing to milk it. Tyson isn’t writing the marketing narrative for the fight. Not his fault that Joe Rogan plus all the normal sports interviewers are focussing on it.

Fury is a good conversationalist and very candid so once he gets going he carries on and on. I doubt he’d choose to dwell on it so much, but just keeps getting asked about it.

I can understand a level of cynicism about Tyson Fury's case given the nandrolone findings, there's an argument that mental health issues were played up to divert focus from a positive PED test. The line between celebrating Fury's recovery story and cynically using it to sell PPV's is a grey one, so that's a valid point.

However the 'mental health fad' statement and the linkage of material wealth etc to happiness suggests a misunderstanding if just why there's a concerted movement to encourage greater discussion of mental health issues? It's not so people can wring their hands and garner faux sympathy on twitter, it's to try and save lives and address a fundamental weakness in how our society recognises and deals with mental illness. That's a very real problem and there's any amount of hard, peer reviewed science to back that up.

My take is that even given the reservations about exploiting a serious issue for marketing gains, it's better to get people talking about this, especially men, especially 'macho' grin and bear it types who may like boxing, who may look up to a 'man's man, like Tyson Fury and can therefore see an example of someone who from the outside 'has it all' but internally is actually in a state of distress. The potential gain from addressing the horrendous levels of male suicide etc. which are the sad result of this situation outweighs the downside.

Eddie Hearn said recently he’s speaking to EA about getting a new one.

I find boxing games are much better than MMA. Video games don’t seem to work well with wrestling and grappling.

Fight Night Champion was great - would love a new game.

I played it again awhile ago and was useless! I was Roberto Duran and I was getting schooled by Micky Ward. It's a good game, can't blame it for my ineptitude.

I hope a new one comes out soon. Yeah I tried playing the UFC games but the gameplay is way too stiff and robotic, id rather just play Tekken.

You can't be depressed if you are financially rich. Having a bad day, sure, but it's not a depression.

Take all their money away and let them work like most other people in jobs they hate, wasting more than 1/3 of their entire life doing that.

Anxiety and depression are not diseases of the rich.
